I attend walkthroughs, review timelines, and keep an eye on quality throughout the build so you're not signing off on something you don't fully understand.
Having your own representation during a new build doesn't cost you anything extra. The builder covers my commission. But the value of having someone on your side who knows what to look for? That's hard to put a price on.
